Soul Siesta kicked-off 14 years ago in and has grown to become one of the premier getaways for the mature-minded, sophisticated traveler. Started in 2000, the Soul Siesta event derived from the need to offer a different product to the urban market based in the United States.
Memorial Day Weekend was saturated with events and a change was needed. We responded by creating a 5-day/4-night all-inclusive getaway that's more than an event, it's the experience of a lifetime. After ten successful years in other countries, and our inaugural year in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

What type of activities happen during The Soul Siesta?
Plus there are plenty of things to get into during the event such as; Volleyball, Aerobics, Water polo, Games, Competitions, Fun Theme parties Kayaking, Sailing, Windsurfing, Scuba diving, Snorkeling, Fitness Center with Gym and Sauna Tennis, Horseback Riding, Bicycling and much more
However the #1 most popular thing to do is to chill with other urban professionals from all over the country who come to have a good time without all the drama that can occur at some of the other events.
Do I need to rent a car to get around?
Not really. Everything takes place on the resort. When you buy your ticket through Soul Siesta, all your activities are taken care of.Th Although “events” will take place off the resort, staying at the host resort allows for a more complete Soul Siesta experience as you can mingle day and night with all Soul Siesta guests. Remember, since this in an all-inclusive resort, access is restricted (via wristband) to those guests staying at the resort.
