At The Roots Picnic, hip-hop and R&B stars take center stage — alongside live podcast recordings and much more — at the Mann Center in Philadelphia’s West Fairmount Park.
The major music event has become a Philly summer tradition — something of an annual reunion, really — and features performances from some of the biggest names in music.
Curated by and named after Philadelphia’s own critically acclaimed band The Roots, this is one music fest not to be missed.
For the 2023 fest — set to take place from June 4 to 5, 2022 — attendees can look forward to performances from Mary J. Blige (with The Roots!), Summer Walker, Wizkid, Jazmine Sullivan, Kamasi Washington, Kirk Franklin, Tierra Whack and more
