The Soul Siesta has been a popular function for the past 8 years for urban professionals who love to unwind and have a great time in a exotic tropical location. Each year, the event centers on different venues within the Dominincan Republic. This year it is being held in Punta Cana. Predominantly African-Americans and Latinos, ages 25 to 40, from a variety of backgrounds sharing a common interest – A Classy and Mature Caribbean event. What happens at the event?
The actual event occurs the Caribe Club Princess Hotel Resort in Punta Cana. Started in 2000, the Soul Siesta is an annual Caribbean getaway designed to promote networking in a fun-filled atmosphere. It all takes place amidst the backdrop of the “New Caribbean” - Republica Dominicana

Do I need to rent a car to get around?
Not really. Everything takes place on the resort. When you buy your ticket through Soul Siesta, all your activities are taken care of.Th Although “events” will take place off the resort, staying at the host resort allows for a more complete Soul Siesta experience as you can mingle day and night with all Soul Siesta guests. Remember, since this in an all-inclusive resort, access is restricted (via wristband) to those guests staying at the resort.
