The NBA All Star Game is NOT just about the game itself. Most people come for the parties and the celebrities period. Every year, the All Star Game takes place in a different city. What makes this year so exciting is that the NBA All Star Game is occuring in a city without a professional sports team. Las Vegas, Nevada. What Sort Of Activities Will Take Place All Star Weekend in Las Vegas

The official NBA All-Star competitions will begin on Friday February 16 - Sunday February 18, 2007.

On Friday, Feb. 16, 2007 the N.B.A's top rookies and second-year players square off in the Rookie Challenge.

On Saturday February 17, 2007 will bring a number of events including a shooting competition featuring NBA Legends, NBA and WNBA players

Skills Challenge, a competition of top guards working against the clock to complete a series of passes, long-range shots and agility drills;

Three-Point Shootout, where six of the NBA’s best long-range shooters compete against each other and versus the clock in the test of three-point shooting accuracy.

The Grand finale, the Slam Dunk Contest, will showcase some of the NBA’s best athletes as they take to the air mystifying fans with their gravity-defying creativity.

Of course On Sunday, February 18, 2007 the day is set for the world famous All Star Game where your favorite NBA players take on each other for bragging rights.
